ARENA

Arena is a residency that took place at La Aceitera in November 2022.

Nace desde un deseo de encuentro, una necesidad, una urgencia íntima de reunir en un mismo proyecto artístico a cinco artistas:

Clementine Deluy, Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola, Martí Corbera, Rocío Molina y Sara Jiménez

The meeting had no other goal than to find a language, both physical and scenic, that would work as a common denominator for the five artists. A blank canvas. An experiment that indiscriminately sought the possibility of a link.

Arena is an experiment in elevation and intense vibration that, as in a particle accelerator, generates more energy than the energy invested. A desire to take the body to the stage the instant before combustion and ecstasy.

Five bodies. Five beings in continuous response to the forces generated and unleashed between them.
