PERRATE + ÁRBOL
14.06.24
On Friday 14 June, we experienced a hand in hand, a joint adventure between the singer Perrate, from Utrera, and the Sevillian musician and composer Miguel Marín Pavón (Árbol), an immersion in the world of imaginary soundtracks based on flamenco, electronics and experimentation with loops, samples and textures.
With a voice that sounds like a cave and "quejío", like mountains crying the absence of the wind, Perrate has been combining avant-garde and tradition since 2005, with "Tres Golpes" (produced by Raül Refree and directed by Pedro G. Romero) being his most recent work.
Marín Pavón has a long experience in music for dance and film, he was part of the British indie group Piano Magic, he signed the soundtrack for "Son de Mar" (Bigas Luna, 2001) and with his project ÁRBOL he has recorded five albums and has performed at festivals such as Sónar, OFFF or Mecal.
