FLAMENCO BIËNNALE NEDERLANDS

Due to the atypical situation in which the eighth edition of the Flamenco Biënnale Nederlands was held, its director, Ernestina Van de Noort, decided to move part of the programming to La Aceitera. Artistic and audiovisual teams were coordinated to offer a unique streaming experience.

The air brings forth a proposal by Rocío Molina, designed to be performed in the space of La Aceitera as an alternative to the "Al fondo riela" project. It involves a play with the location and the guitars of Eduardo Trassiera, Yerai Cortés, and Rafael Rodríguez.

The "Impressions of Seville" proposal aimed to showcase different generations of dancers through excerpts from their pieces. It featured Andrés Marín, Ana Morales, and Vanesa Aibar.

Andrés Marín performed "La sexta hora" from his work "Vigilia perfecta," with Cristian de Moret on vocals and Alfonso Padilla on saxophone. Ana Morales performed "En la cuerda floja" alongside artists Pablo Martín-Caminero, Paquito González, and José Quevedo 'Bolita.' Vanesa Aibar presented a preview of "La reina del metal" with percussionist Enric Montfort.
