"Fuera de sí" by Luz Arcas – An honor to host the 2024 National Dance Award-winning choreographer at La Aceitera.

With Julio Ruiz, Javier De La Asunción, and the artistic accompaniment of Ernesto Artillo.

"I seem very sure, don't I? Nothing worries me, I don't doubt, nothing makes me doubt, I don't break, I don't cry, as if the possibility of fracture doesn't exist in me. You've seen me dance and you know how strong I am. Accurate, fierce even, hard, devastating my steps, don't they seem so to you? You have seen the beauty. You think nothing breaks me, don't you? The touch, the sight, the smell, the laughter, the life. Everything breaks me, undresses me, kills me, wounds me. I can't touch. I don't know how to love. I freeze at the thought of touching you. I worry about touching a man. Even if there are flowers. You think you know how they smell, how beautiful they are. But even if there are flowers, man cries, don't you hear? Even if there are flowers, man dies, don't you see me? Even if there are flowers, there is blood. (...) Yes, I am a man. All those men, even if I don't know how to touch any of them".
