LUCÍA EN VIVO. LUCÍA ÁLVAREZ ‘LA PIÑONA’

At the beginning of 2024 the artist Lucía Álvarez 'La Piñona' carried out a period of artistic stay at La Aceitera. Her project had been selected in the 1st Call for Creative Residencies at La Aceitera (2023).

As a result of the process, an event was scheduled open to the local audience, in which the dancer invited us to discover her current creative concerns with "Lucía, en VIVO", a work-in-progress project, whose structure is inspired by the formula of a music concert. Lucía lets her body be the instrument that, in an organic way, channels and expresses the concerns, thoughts, messages, emotions and the diverse, deep and contradictory "repertoire" that inhabits us inside.

This project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Ayuntamiento de Bollullos, El Mandaito Producciones and each member of our association La Aceitera.
